1 - Introdução
Desde criança sempre curti animações japonesas, mas ultimamente sentia falta de alguma bibliografia para dar apoio ao hobbie.
O livro de McCarthy classifica os 500 melhores filmes de animação japonesa por gênero e faixa etária, há inclusive indicação de animações para adultos (+18).
Não há obra semelhante no mercado brasileiro e fiquei muito feliz de conseguir acrescentar esse item ao meu acervo, pois novas referências são muito bem vindas.
2 - 500 filmes
Muitos são animações conhecidas, como Akira, mas há diversos tesouros escondidos esperando ser assistidos.
Claro que a maioria nunca chegou oficialmente ao Brasil e muita coisa talvez nunca chegue, mas é interessante descobrir que a criatividade dos japas é ilimitada.
Você não precisa comprar o livro para conhecer a lista, pois o site listchallenges já a tem, basta acessar.
Muitas dessas animações podem ser encontradas pelo Google, traduzidas por fãs da animação oriental, que o fizeram sem finalidade lucrativa.
3 - Conclusão
Enfim, esse livro só serve para quem é muito amante de animação japonesa.
Essa lista me ajudou a descobri muitas obras de qualidade que hoje jazem esquecidas pela falta de apelo comercial.
